Summon your inner witch and concoct your very own potion on all hallows eve night with our ultimate Spooky Spirit Making Academy!

Distil a BOOzy elixir of your choice… gin, spiced rum or flavoured vodka!

This is a Moonshiners spirit making academy with a devilish difference – just for Halloween night! Expect all kinds of weird and wonderful witch-tastic ingredients to make a batch of spirit that perfectly embodies the spooky season. There will be creepy cocktails and lots of Halloween fun – dress up sincerely encouraged!

As with all our Academies, this is a make-your-own spirit experience where you create and leave with a bottle of gin, spiced rum or flavoured vodka that suits your personal tastes.

A Spooky Spirit Academy ticket includes…

  • Welcome drink
  • Use of a mini-still and work station
  • Spirit samples throughout the academy
  • Coaching in how to make a spirit to suit you from an experienced distiller
  • Second drink
  • A bottle of your very own Spirit

And it all happens right in Newcastle City Centre – find us.

Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Event concludes around 10pm with option to stay for drinks afterwards – we are staying open late to see in the witching hour (midnight) with a DEADicated Halloween Cocktail menu.

Admits one to make-your-own Spooky Spirit Academy where you can make gin, spiced rum or flavoured vodka. This option doubles up the amount of spirit you make - you get 2 bottles of your own spirit to take away with you. Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Event concludes around 10pm with option to stay for a drink afterwards. Last orders 11.30pm. Please ensure everyone in your booking is aged 18 or over. (You all still need to bring ID with you in case of challenge 25.)

You still get your own mini-still and make your own bottle of spirit. Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Event concludes around 10pm with option to stay for a drink afterwards. Last orders 11.30pm. Please ensure everyone in your booking is aged 18 or over. (You all still need to bring ID with you in case of challenge 25.)

Admits two to make-your-own Spooky Spirit Academy where you can make gin, spiced rum or flavoured vodka. You share a mini-still but make a bottle of your chosen spirit each. You need to distil the same recipe but each bottle of spirit can be made unique with post-distillation additions. Includes 2 drinks and samples each. Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Event concludes around 10pm with option to stay for a drink afterwards. Last orders 11.30pm. Please ensure everyone in your booking is aged 18 or over. (You all still need to bring ID with you in case of challenge 25.)
